We provide inpatient and outpatient care.  We specialize in seeing the whole family including caring for:

Women's Health:

We provide routine female care including: annual examinations, sexually transmitted disease testing, pap smears, and colposcopy. We do not provide routine prenatal care, but are comfortable treating pregnant patients.

Men's Health
We provide routine male care including:  testicular exams, hernia exams,  prostate exams, sexually transmitted disease testing and yearly general health exams

Office Procedures:
Mole removals, cyst removals, joint injections, joint aspirations, ingrown toe nail removal, laceration repair, colposcopy, vasectomy

Vasectomy:
Dr. Shawn Howerton MD is trained in performing No Scalpel Vasectomies as an office procedure.  Most men are candidates for outpatient vasectomies and can avoid the risk and expense of general anesthesia.  Studies show that male sterilization is safer and has less risk of complications than female sterilization.
